"This morning I called up Chestnut auto because I noted from Carfax that Chestnut did servicing on a vehicle I'm interested in buying. I spoke with Matt. I asked Matt about the vehicle. Although this wasn't a paying job for the shop, Matt was exceptionally helpful in tracking down the vehicle VIN and thinking through the purchase with me. When I asked if he could ask the tech who worked on the car Matt spoke with him and the tech, also named Matt, Again, he was exceptionally helpful. This was done knowing that there was no money involved and I find this very impressive and heartening. I would suggest that, if you're looking for work to be done on your car and after you see the other very positive reviews, just book yourself in to this shop when needed. Thanks guys. "I had to get a safety check for my car, and anytime something was found that needed fixing, I was called by Chestnut Auto to explain the problem and why it needed fixing, and the exact cost. They were in communication so I was never left wondering when it would be ready, how much it would be, or what was getting done, and they had excellent friendly service in person and on the phone. When all the work was done, the mechanic came out while I was paying, and showed me the actual parts from my car that needed to replaced and why. Such transparent and open auto service. Was very impressed."
